Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, this camping site near Namib-Naukluft Park is a desert oasis. I couldn't resist taking a dip while surrounded by the barren landscape - it was like finding a sparkling diamond in a sandy sea.
Rocky soil made tent pegs difficult.

The value for money at this campsite was excellent, with beautiful and clean accommodations. The location was perfect, just outside the Sossusvlei access gate, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
The breakfast items could use some improvement.

Spacious campsites with private parking, toilet, and shower. Convenient location near a petrol station and national park entrance. Great for experiencing sunrise in the dunes. Ablution and cooking areas are comfortable and clean. One of the most comfortable desert camping experiences we've had.

We loved our stay at a campsite near Sossus Oasis. The private ablutions block was a game-changer, with hot showers and clean toilets. The campsite was well-maintained, and the patio provided a shady spot to relax. The location was ideal, right by the entrance to Sossusvlei. We also appreciated the convenience of the on-site shop. we highly recommend this campsite for its value and excellent facilities.

Our family had an amazing time at a campsite near the entrance of a famous reserve. The shaded area next to the clean toilet and shower was convenient. We loved having electricity and lighting available. The swimming pool was a great way to relax after a long day of traveling.
It can get very windy at night, making it difficult to sleep in a tent.

We stayed at Sossus Oasis Campsite for a few nights during our visit to the park. The location just outside the park gate was convenient, and the food at Sossus Lodge was excellent value. The campsite provided an ensuite private bath with a solar heated hot shower and a private toilet. The concrete pad for our tent was a great feature, however, we had to secure it with rocks since stakes weren't available. The small shop on-site had everything we needed, and there was also the option to dine at Sossus Lodge, which offered a better value for the price.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Consistent power and warm showers were a pleasant surprise at the campsite. The campsite had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, adding to the overall ambiance.- The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease during our stay.- It was convenient to have amenities such as a small shop, fuel garage, and a place to buy new tires available at the campsite.
Sleeping in a tent can be challenging due to the strong winds in the area, affecting our sleep quality. The check-in process could be improved, as having a smaller check-in office closer to the site would have been more convenient.
